2018 Graduate Student Success

Sara Adelman, a UW-Madison DVM student and MS student in the Comparative Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program, successfully defended her MS Thesis entitled “Mapping Retinal Ganglion Cells in a Large-eyed Glaucoma Model” for her work conducted in the McLellan lab. Sara graduated DVM, MS in May and recently began a rotating internship in companion animal medicine and surgery in California.

Kevin Snyder DVM, a second year Resident in Comparative Ophthalmology, successfully defended his MS Thesis entitled “Imaging Aqueous Humor Outflow in a Spontaneous Model of Primary Congenital Glaucoma” in August.  Kevin will continue to pursue research interests in canine and feline glaucoma in the McLellan lab over the remainder of his 4-year training program.
