The UW School of Veterinary Medicine announced that Dr. McLellan will be the inaugural recipient of the Tim and Nancy Speaker Chair in Canine Health. The Speaker Chair was established earlier this spring by Tim and Nancy Speaker, great friends of the School, who took advantage of the most recent Morgridge match. This five-year appointment supports a faculty member whose research is focused on canine health and well-being and will help to advance Dr. McLellan’s efforts to identify and address genetic causes of glaucoma in dogs.
